I hope you have enjoyed my recent posts sharing all of the delicious dishes The Tasty Bunch enjoyed at Friend Judy and Paul's when we gathered there for Valentine's Day. Sadly I am sharing the last dish/recipe from that evening today. It is the third appetizer she served.
STUFFED MUSHROOMS
24 mushrooms
3 scallions
2-3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons plain breadcrumbs
6 tablespoons cream cheese
salt
pepper
2 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
Wash well the mushrooms and then pop the stems off.
Chop the stems from the mushrooms and the scallions.
Saute the stems and scallions in the butter.
Mix in the breadcrumbs, cream cheese, some salt and pepper.
Stuff this mixture into the mushrooms.
Place stuffed mushrooms in a 9 x 13 - inch glass baking dish.
Add the milk to the dish and bake for 15 minutes.
