ASPENS IN COLORADO

Fall has arrived in the Rockies! At least with the aspens!

While we were in Colorado visiting our older son and his family, we drove up into the mountains out of Divide, CO to Meuller State Park to take a short hike and enjoy the aspens. There were a lot of other people who had the same idea, but that was okay. It was a beautiful day and the aspens were absolutely gorgeous!

I hope you will enjoy my pictures.

Colby waiting for his grandmother...
Studying the interesting cuts on the tree...
I love the bark on the aspens....

Grandchildren Hallie, Colby, Sadie, and Henry, with son Jeffrey and Dil Sara and their two foster children

Henry with his first "walking" stick he found....

His second "walking" stick was better as a "horse"....

The grandkids enjoyed changing the heights to each other with the uneven ground....

A fallen leaf....

We had such a nice path to walk on....
Looks like the sun gave me some additional bangs....
Enjoying lunch in one of the picnic areas in the park. Cooler there....
The birds would actually come take food out of your hands. They were too fast for me to capture them in a picture....

Gotcha! I captured him before he got away...

Colby took a good picture of us at the picnic area...
