PATRICIA'S CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE

Our host and hostess for this month's Tasty Bunch gathering were Friends Patricia and Gary. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Bravo's in Zona Rosa and then were off to Patricia and Gary's for dessert and more fellowship.

Guess what I am sharing with you today. Patricia's dessert. OMG! It was so delicious. Words fail me. The mint chocolate chips added so much to it! You could use any chocolate chips (probably), but trust me the mint chocolate chip morsels are worth having to buy them special.

PATRICIA'S CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE

1          (5 ounce) package cook and serve chocolate pudding
2-1/3   cups milk
1           chocolate cake mix
1-2/3   cups mint chocolate chip morsels, separated
1/2       cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9 x 13 - inch baking pan.

Combine the chocolate pudding and milk in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until thick, stirring frequently.

Remove pan from heat and add in dry cake mix. Mix together.

Add 1/2 of the mint chips to cake batter and pour into the pan.

Evenly spread the rest of the mint chips over the top of the cake and then sprinkle on the nuts.

Bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Let cool and serve.

Serve without

or with ice cream
