CHOCOLATE CHIP OATMEAL COOKIES

I love being able to feature my friends' recipes.  Today I am sharing Fran's Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies.  She served them when a group of us met at her house to play cards.  The cookies were very good even though she forgot to add the oats.  We told her we would just call them Chocolate Chip Without the Oats Oatmeal Cookies.  lol .  She was disappointed because she said she really likes oats in cookie recipes.  She didn't remember where she found the recipe and has had it awhile.
